actually he got a new job

Hm yeah; I just couldn't help but tease him a bit because it looked like you are congratulating him for yawning and him being like "I'm so pro (because I can yawn)".

But with the added knowledge of him having a new job, it suddenly makes much more sense. ;)

Edit: As I already wrote in the other thread... congratulations! =)

That's nice. :)

I couldn't really concentrate yesterday evening and also had a minor headache (pun intended), thus I didn't join our reset-event. Ran a bit around in home border instead.

Moved, almost unpacked, lost a ton of money (€200..) because my previous landlady upset me and I just said "keep the rest of the months rent for all I care just get off my back."

Hooked up computer.. The screen doesn't react to it, so either gfx is busted, loose or too dirty. Gonna check it when I've cleaned it out, picked it apart and put it back together... After I'm done unpacking..

Yey me.
So tell our beloved commanders from me to keep up the good work, and get on the forums more! ;-)

Sigh, lag issues are still there.. I am even thinking of getting myself a VPN so that I can play again. Any recommendations?

Also I have not set up any guild missions this week since I dont know if I will be able to lead them.

IPredator is pretty good as VPN.

Have you called your ISP yet? I worked at two ISP's as an underpayed tech support slave, and usually lag is due to the mechanic not wiring the splitters in the correct way, or corroded cables. In some cases, the wrong modem is installed for the type of connection. It's also common that the neighbourhood end point decided to give your connection low priority for no apparent reason.

I have been monitoring my connection to the server for the past 2 days and it is 2-3 nodes, always the same that seem to have gigantic percentages of packet loss. Thats why I was thinking of using a VPN to get another route to the servers. Also this problem seems to mainly be a problem with GW2 as other online games work fine.

Now this is just sad. So I called my ISP about this problem, turns out they are unwilling to help as I could not provide the date of birth from the person who signed the internet contract. It seems the fact that there has been nothing wrong with the connection before and several people in norway with one thing in common (the ISP) are having problems was not enough to lift a finger.

Maybe Stranger or any of the senior members can start them this week? I'm not gonna be around much because of this week's work schedule (2x belgium, 1x germany, 1x northern netherlands). Plus side is the reward at the end of the week... longweekend away to a bungalow parc \o/

Ew, okay. Is there any way for you to find out that birthdate? I mean I don't know how exactly you're living in Norway and who pays for your internet access, but I think you most likely know this person and can contact him/her. Maybe they'll be willing to help then.

I'm neither sure about what "doge" means, nor how the grades are ranked. But it's still kinda obvious that you've actually achieved a quite good (or even awesome) grade. ^^

So; congratulations! :)
