Holy crap, the house next to my parents burned to the ground today, and I arrived (by chance) to the scene before the firefighters. Another neighbour had already called at that point (I did not know, at the time, and was about to call as I heard the sirens), but discovering that the house was on fire... Scary experience. The house is now completely gone (save for a few pieces that are still burning). No human was hurt, thankfully.
