« on: 11 March 2013, 00:39 »
this is my home and id like to come back , but if refused ill end up leaving the server as i dont see any other potential guild to fully commit to , im going through hard time atm irl and maybe i over reacted but everyone does.

so i appoligize to for overreacting . the guild deserves my appoligy for the way i handled things as we all get along great and due to 1 issue i dont want to loose my freinds :D

I get why things irl make u react a certain way. However, that's also not an excuse for acting out the way u did. Imo, the least u can do, is apologize to Maloki.

Zim,

i did read a bit of the discussion when you left the guild in a form of "ragequit" Back in the days this behaviour has not been accepted by the guild, not even by me when i was leader of the guildwars section and i also have a hot headed temper. Maloki/Zhen she is an officer. If she decides to join a other guild for communication reasons then she only has to explain this to other officers or to Cao Cao as he is still our "emperor". I think that if an officer has questions about behaviour or actions it's their good right to ask and agree or disagree. I am sorry but even IRL stuff that is going on doesn't make up for your actions. First thing you should do is talk to maloki/Zhen and see what comes from there. If it's up to me, this behaviour should not been accepted and no new rejoining the guild. But it's not up to me to decide that. No matter what the outcome will be i will always respect the decision because i understand how hard and how much time it consumes to even run Guild or a section of it. Perhaps your should take this in consideration before you take action.

Kind regards

Cao Ang

Zim,
I have been out of the loop, so I dont have the full scope of things. However I am a realist, and from what I've seen calling a female a "bitch" is a totally unacceptable behavior. From what I read she was being respectful and nothing she said warranted that kind of reaction directed at her. In its own right that deserves an appology whether or not you agree with it. By you refusing to appologize speaks volumes of your personality. I take it you are not married. Any man who is knows when to take defeat if or if not he feels just about it. Just some advice.

TK out!

I was there when it happened and the way i see it is that in the heat of a discussion both parties involved pressed eachothers red "do not press" buttons and things happened because of hot headedness. I believe Zim was irritated at being ignored on team chat by commander, felt therefor he was giving scouting reports for naught, was not important enough to report to that commander and vented his frustration on gchat and from there it snowballed. I believe people deserve second chances, Zim is a good guy, a very skilled and easy to follow commander in WvW and it would be our loss if we no longer have him in the guild or have hom leave the server because of this, imo irl circumstances do in some cases merit some leeway, however he and Maloki/Wei will have to have a chat to clear the air and reach a decision.

i agree, i do. one of the best advice my father gave me was
" the quicker you apologise and admit you were wrong, the quicker you get out of the conflict "
just wanted to share that one.

Personally i have just been wanting to stay out of this topic, its not my business rly, but it does bother me.

sometimes one just has to swallow his pride, and behave humbly. but yes i totally agree with my mate Alysfa here, Zim truly is huge asset to the guild! and a great guy at that :)

lastly i would like to repeat what Juge was saying in the aftermath, a guild is like a work place, full of friends and collegues, people one should treat with respect and kindness.

The officers will be discussing this matter in about 2 hours.

If anyone, especially Zim, has anything to add till then now would be a good time to do so.
Either here, or in a PM to me or Wei.

A quote popped into my head today, not sure if it is an existing one, but funny enough it seems applicable here: the strongest bond is one forged in the hottest fire and then tempered

The officers of Dynasty Warriors have agreed that we will offer Zimline another chance. Zim has been a great member due to the contributions to the community and events, and deserves a second chance. If it had been any other member behaving in a similar manner they would have been kicked long ago without a second glance.

However, this re-invitation rests on the following conditions:

- An official apology. (It's not just Maloki, you also left people in the guild that care for you)
- A months probation period. Like a complete new member this effectively resets his progress to becoming a senior member in the guild.
- One condition is going to be kept between Zimline and the officers. This condition will not be open for the public due to previous request for the involved parties. Zimline will be informed of it either by request (get in touch with Wei Yan) or when he has apologized.

And please, if further disagreements with an officer/leader occur, remember that you can contact any other officer within the guild to solve those problems. Not everything has to go through Maloki. If you need a time-out from the guild feel free to represent another guild or disable guild chat for a few hours, or a day or two (but please do not do it in a "fuck off I will rep guild x so screw you all" kind of way).

We don't approve of rage quitting in Dynasty Warriors and never will, as Cao Ang a long time member (and previous officer) already stated. Usually rage quitting and inviting back does not work out very well, but we are willing to give you a chance here as you are a valued member.

This is our only and final offer, if drama is caused around this the offer will be withdrawn.
