For the last three days my friend was missing. He lives in Trondheim, where it’s cold winter now. On Tuesday night, sometime after 20:00, he left his house with little money, wearing only shoes, trousers, a t-shirt and a thin leather jacket. Since then no one had seen or heard from him. There were no reported sightings, signal from his mobile phone or uses of his credit or bus card. No nothing.
When I woke up this morning I checked Facebook and a newspaper article about the disappearance. The only new post was a comment made by his brother on the newspaper article; it was made less than an hour before I woke up. Then my phone rang, it was another friend, who's been up there looking for him. My missing friend had been found and was alive.
In Bergen today, the fog is thick, with clouds hanging low, covering the mountain tops, and the rain is pouring down. Yet I’ve never seen the sun shine brighter. I believe that you shouldn’t use extreme expressions all the time when describing situations and emotions, but today no other ways are fitting. This is the best day in my life.

He says he got lost in the woods when taking a walk to clear his head after an argument with his fiance. Haven't spoken to him in person yet.
