Saw a great movie you think others might haven't seen yet? Post it here, preferrably with an IMDB link.
I would most definitly like to recommend OldBoy (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0364569/), a Korean movie from a director whose biggest fan is Quentin Tarantino. He's got that going for him.
Brilliant stuff :)

I'm kinda into pretty weird movies like this one:
Heavy Metal (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0082509/)
Some people call it bad taste, other people call it open minded.
I don't care either way, I like these flicks that try to be art over being a movie.Saw a great movie you think others might haven't seen yet? Post it here, preferrably with an IMDB link.

I'll check it out, sounds interesting. I like Tarantino's movies (Jackie Brown (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0119396/) being my favourite), so this should logically be good.

I've been reading the books since the end of season 2, and I can tell you it's going to be awesome. :)

The books are way, way better than the series though. (although I am a fanboy who read the books long before the televised series came out, so I guess I'm a bit biased)
-
I've been kinda discurraged by the extremely detailed descriptions of everything I don't care about, like food, songs and foilage... but that's me so the series makes me happy :D

Don't try reading The Lord Of The Rings if you don't like songs. :P

Funfact: Bilbo was the first book I ever read (acctuall book, comics and other picture books exluded :P)
Back on topic; Loopers was acctually a good movie, so if you feel like some obvious action it's probably a good gamble ^^
-
Robot & Frank, its a work of art, however not for everyone. It didn't have a lot of action.
-
The Greatest Movie Ever Sold.
Documentary. And awesome! Same guy as behind Super Size Me.
-
hmmm as I am kinda a Morgan Freeman fan I ofcourse must recommend The Shawshank Redemption (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0111161/)
Fantastic movie!
Also liked The Bucket List (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0825232/) very much
-
I really liked Gentleman Bronchos even though it didn't seem to do that well or rate highly...but then aren't those always the best ones^^

If you liked the first Heavy Metal you should Heavy Metal 2000 if you haven't already, in some ways I liked it better than the first, although I still think the first is over all better.
As for Oldboy that is a great film, and I would recommend it to anyone to see, it has one hell of a twist at the end! Although if you like Oldboy you should see Ichi the Killer (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0296042/).

Imo OldBoy and Ichi The Killer are nothing alike. OldBoy is a vengeance movie whereas Ichi The Killer is just a gore slaughtermovie. :p

Watched Safety Not Guaranteed (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1862079/) a few weeks back - a most excellent quirky little film
