Final Fantasy XIV

I'm actually getting interrested in this game again, because it did something that few online games did before. After release, it was completely UNDERWHELMING. It was full of bugs, the gameplay wasn't exactly great and people felt that they were overpaying for a subpar game, leaving it in masses.

Square-Enix then decided to pull the plug on the game, and just start redevelloping it for 6 months. I kid you not. So one could say that FFXIV had a little under a year of open beta. They're releasing it again at the end of this month, and I'm considering getting it for my PS3 and just derp around a bit. I've played every Final Fantasy between 3 and 13 so I'm kind of curious.

Did anyone play it before they pulled the plug? Or is anyone planning to play it?

I played the beta a week ago and for the few hours i could play it it was awesome. Maybe a few tiny things that could do better. But no mayor bugs or anything.

But I am also wondering on if i should play or not. Mostly because i can't stand monthly fees in whatever way. But i can tell you that from stories i have heard. The game is in a much better state now

I'll probably order it for PS3 somewhere next week when my paycheck comes in, and play it untill ESO releases. It feels like a waste to me to NOT play a Final Fantasy game, even if the last few were kinda shabby
