Are you sure you didn't forget something? ;)
That's not what gives me anxiety, but thanks for being so nice about it.

The sudden noise coming from my neighbours a couple minutes (well, more than a couple minutes by now) ago told me that Italy is currently playing. They (well, actually the guy) seem to be aware that it's after midnight though, since other than that, it's silent. Also, he wasn't loud for long. I kinda wonder if that will change if Italy should win. I also wonder if he'd join those who might sit into their cars, driving around hooting. I also wonder if actually anyone would do that at this time (which will be after 1am)... I don't remember anymore how it was during the last world championship (prolly cause I've partly spent that time in Argentina). xD

But I'll probably not get those answers, since I'm going to sleep now. Unless I wake up from the noise that is (if there's any).

Good night! :)

Oh, and before I forget... Switzerland is playing tomorrow (well, today actually) evening! I ain't much of a soccer-fan, but I'm totally gonna watch that one! :)

Edit: Packing... that's something I usually do on the day of departure. According to a list I've made before (which always is a modified list of the list from the last time I needed to pack), haha.

Why do you guys keep thinking that the packing is the issue?
I get random anxiety, I get more do from travel fever. That just makes everything more difficult, packing is done but since someone is spending a month in my apartment there are  other things that need to be done before I leave, and this is day before departure and when departure is in the morning I prefer to be done before I nap.

I agree with you Maloki, the packing is the least stressful part.

Making sure the place is clean and tidy for others (therefore cleaning is in overdrive and more than i normally do), making sure all other things are sorted and people have information on what to do.

The worst anxiety for me is when i leave, always thinking i missed something and no way of going back to sort. Happens every time.

Oh and England suck as usual  :D

seems like Belgium celebrates Father's Day on the 2nd sunday of June.

We don't. Ling Cao thought so first, but after you've cleared that up, it was like uhm... clear. Cao Cao just mentioned he's packing as well since the topic of packing was brought up, and I threw in (since it's topic-related) that I usually do it last minute, unlike you or Cao Cao who seem to start a couple of days before you leave home. Neither me nor Cao Cao implied that your anxiety has anything to do with packing. :)

Hold on... wasn't that already just recently? I could swear there was even someone posting in this forum (or was it somewhere else... hmmm...) and I replied that here, father's day is pretty much unknown. It's not even mentioned in the calendar. And there's also not a single word about it in the supermarket (unlike for mother's day, where they throw it in your face everywhere ^^).

This sailing thing.
Stressed out captain, because people who were supposed to show up didn't and the people who were supposed to help organize just disappeared.. They got through the 3 first weeks leg in one week.. Left me stranded in this harbor / canal town for an entire week while he went home because he needed a break.
In the mean time I've been to the ER with my leg, which was apparently just an inflammation caused by overmobility in my joints (especially the knees) and showed me that the pain was elsewhere than I thought.

So no sailing as of yet, but I've burned through 3/5 of my data for this month in 3 days... Yey.

Now it's Midsummer's eve and we're not allowed to eat meat because it's a vegan boat....

We're this close to calling mutiny... :-(

Uh oh, I've got a feeling that parts of the text have gone missing here.

But I hope that everything (your leg, being stranded in a harbor, etc.) gets better soon! :)

Iirc, midsummer is the longest day of the year, right? Doesn't get celebrated in any way here, but... happy midsummer!

@Ling Cao: Congratz! ^^

Lol, so Kaladin was right back then and Norway really IS the most expensive place to buy alcohol! :D

Switzerland comes right after, though. ^^

Edit: I'm always kinda amazed when I see how my friends in Germany (when we meet up) fill the shopping cart with lots of meat, bread, chips, other stuff, and last but not least quite a big amount of alcohol. And then everything costs like around 100 Euro or less. And I always think "wtf", because here in Switzerland, you'd probably pay 3-4 times as much. So yeah... it doesn't surprise me, that Germany is among the cheapest (actually only Poland is cheaper) on this chart. ^^
