All i can tell is that the cat + rabbit = 10 rabbit + dog = 20 and cat+dog 24 so the thing for sure is that the difference between that cat and the rabbit is 4.

So that would mean that the cat would be 6 and the rabbit 4 there for the dog would be 20-4= 16  or 20-6= 14?

About the riddle:

I got 27kg as well.

Cao Ang, you're just a little bit off (prolly due to not really having much time for it due to work), because if the difference between cat and rabbit is 4kg, it can't be that the cat is 6kg and the rabbit 4kg. ^^


Solution for that part for those who didn't solve it already and don't want to think about it themselves (making it the smallest font-size cause we don't have spoiler-tags here ):

weight of rabbit = x
weight of cat = x+4kg
weight of rabbit and cat together = 10kg

so

x+(x+4kg) = 10kg
2x+4kg = 10kg
2x = 6kg
x = 3kg ---> weight of the rabbit; therefore the weight of the cat is 7kg
