So I have windows 10 now on my desktop, and so far it seems to be working as it should, games run and such. No stuff that keeps annoying me, at least not yet xD

Did the upgrade installer wipe your hard disk first or was the data saved? /so only the OS folder upgraded?

Edit late happy birthday!:)

When I installed Windows 10, it was treated as a normal servicepack update, so it just did an overwrite of system files. It created a restore point too, so I could go back to Windows 8.1 if I wanted.

Only negative things I found with Windows 10 is that my laptop speakers don't work anymore and the Dolby Surround system only has stereo output.
Oh, and the privacy rape of course, but you can install Anti-Beacon to disable a lot of the data sent to uncle Microsoft.

I also had the option to keep everything (pretty much a upgrade)
or completely wipe it and do a clean install

As for the spyware I also got this video that lets you disable a lot of it

So basicly they are making the old legendaries look like compleet trash X.X Dont even want to see the new legendary hammer. Put so much time into getting the juggernaut and then its going to look like shit in comparison to the new hammer.

It won't necessarily "look like shit", just different. If a gen 1 legendary looks better than a gen 2, then I wont go for the new one. No difference except its look.

Its nice to see that staff skin finally come into the game, it was data-mined so long ago, never thought it would come into the game. Its great to see that I will have a nice pistol skin to work for, instead of Quip. The axe not sure about, just looks like a flashier version of the zodiac skin, or at least similar to my eyes :D

With them all being account bound, hopefully, that will make them a bit more rare to see around.

Hmm, the new pistol looks pretty neat, but I'm happy with my Quip for its trolling qualities.
If I'd ever get another legendary it'd be a weapon for my necro, I like the new staff but it doesn't really fit his look. So unless the new dagger/greatsword is gonna be really fitting/awesome, I'm not gonna bother :P
The new precursor crafting system make it a lot better though.

I also read on the forum there's gonna be 16 new legendaries. Considering there are 19 weapon types in total, it's pretty safe to assume they wont make any new underwater legendaries. I kinda feel indifferent about that, Anet abandoned the whole underwater part of the game as far as I've seen, and most people don't like it for its clunkiness (and neither do I, but I do feel it has a lot of untapped potential, I really like underwater exploration).

I'm totally going to make one of the new legendaries, just don't know yet which one.
But i just want to see how good & fun the new precursor hunt will be

The pistol atleast looks promising already, I might be able to use it longer than i would with quip :D

YES

They are bringing back the Mad King's Lair for this Halloween event. I was playing almost completely solo, except for dungeon stories back then, was never able to complete this content. Always regretted it. Now I will finally be able to do it again.

Link

Just need to bring back Reapers Rumble, thats was loads of fun.
