didn't get it either, needed 4 more events, ran around for 20mins 
time to head to bed tho, not going to let this control my life  (read: the urge to keep on playing until the goal is reached)

Whenever events are the last thing I need for daily, all of them seem to just not occur anymore.
I'm 3 dailies and a monthly away from my first amulet So yeah, still on schedule to get it by the end of the month. (still need to salvage like 125 things, but I'll be fine)

back in the MD days you mentioned about several minis around your home (the mill) ?

Even got a mini- caravan haha
